EVER since news of Cinderella Sanyu (Cindy)’s split from the girl pop group, BLU*3 earlier this year went public, we have been waiting with naked expectation for Cindy’s musical return.

Apparently, the songbird had decided to award herself leave to share precious time with her Italian fiancé, Mario, in Spain.

When she quietly sneaked into town sometime in March, she was shocked to find that she had been replaced by Edith Baganda aka Mya, formerly of the Obsessions.

We had been wondering whether after the bitter split, she would ever go back to singing. Now we know! Cindy recently dropped her maiden solo hit, an afro-pop hit called Mbikoye (I’m Fed Up).

However, she seems to have bigger plans up her sleeve. She is soon releasing a collaboration with the Nigerian R&B duo, P-Square.

Apparently, Cindy hooked up with P-Square when they were in town to curtain raise for Senegalese American international R&B singer Akon in May this year.

The song was recorded by Washington Ebangit at Ikon records studios. Could this be her ticket to a comeback?
