EDITOR—I would like to commend Uganda Telecom Ltd for the just concluded customer care week in Kampala. Like many other inventions by the company, this was a stroke of genius as customers’ needs and queries were catered for like they had never imagined!

Imagine having a telecommunication-related problem and finding someone who understands you and speaks your language! Splendid is the word that echoed through my head.
Now the challenge is for UTL to spread this wonderful service to service
centres throughout the country so as to cement their position as a top telecommunications company in Uganda.
