“Meat is meat, it has the same protein value like goat meat or beef.†He adds that the only difference is in their smell. Nasinyama says dog meat is of great importance in China and Korea, where it is used as a medicine.
Between two and four million dogs are estimated to be consumed in South Korea every year, an AFP story says. “It is interesting that in Korea, they are now looking for ways of classifying dogs as livestock.
