KAMPALA Mayor Nasser Ssebagala will today open the second Kampala International Sports Film Festival at Club Rouge. The three-day bonanza is recognised by the global sports films body, FICTS (Federation International Cinema Television Sportifs) based in Milan, Italy.

KAMPALA Mayor Nasser Ssebagala will today open the second Kampala International Sports Film Festival at Club Rouge. The annual festival will showcase various works and productions of professionals in television sports journalism from as far as UK, USA, France, Japan, China, Australia, Sweden, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe and hosts Uganda.
Sports state minister Charles Bakkabulindi is expected to grace the opening ceremony of the festival. Over 20 entries will compete for top honours in six categories: documentaries, sport and society; Olympic Games; TV sports shows/ programmes; movies and sports adverts.

The free-entry event is supported by Jomayi Property Consultants and Sports Betting Africa (SBA).
