Firebase beat man over Barbie’s car

WE recently reported that self-styled singer Bobi Wine’s Republic of Uganja crew had confiscated singer Jose Chameleone’s street bike at their Kamwokya based Dream Studios where the singer had gone to record a song.

The latest buzz we have now involves a man who was beaten into a coma and hospitalised by this very same crew after he accidentally stoned a car which belongs to Bobi Wine’s fiancée, Barbie Itungo.
A fight with a colleague, which started out as vocal disagreement near the Fire Base home in Kamwokya, had degenerated into a physical stone-throwing melee, attracting the attention of everyone in the neighbourhood, members of Uganja inclusive.
It was at this time that a stone thrown by one of them hit Barbie’s car, shuttering its windscreen.
The Crew members, who had watched the fight from the fringes the whole time, were angered by the act and descended upon the offender and beat him into a coma before he had a chance to apologise.
The crowd, infuriated by the crew’s heinous act, moved to manhandle the Uganja boys but they fled for dear life.
They locked themselves up in their base as their victim was rushed to hospital. The situation was, however, saved by timely arrival of the Police. Hmmm!
