BIDDERS for recently- advertised roads maintenance projects by the Uganda National Roads Authority who have not visited the sites will be disqualified.
“We have been getting a lot of unserious bidders. After visiting the site, the regional manager will give them a certificate. This should ensure that the bidders are serious,†Dan Alinange, the authority’s spokesman, said.
This directive is among instructions to bidders in the first major call by the authority for bidders for 19 road maintenance projects. The bidder is also expected to examine the surroundings.
