Snoops in attendance at Foreign Affairs minister Sam Kutesa’s wedding to Edith Gasana at his residence on Akibua Road Nakasero say they understood why there was no need for the wedding to take place in a 5-star hotel as had earlier been planned.

The house was ample for both the church service and reception.
Snoops who describe the Kutesa residence as 5-star, say guests, appeared mesmerised by the sheer splendour and exotic ambience of Kutesa’s ‘palace’.

The house has four sitting rooms with different sets of exotic funiture, two confrence halls that can each accommodate up to 30 people at ago, two offices (one Kutesa’s and another for his wife), a spotlessly clean and well maintained swimming pool, a sauna and steam bath and sprawling compound measuring about 100 by 50 metres with over 50 palm trees (laced with lights in their canopies that illuminate the compound at night) leading up to the porch. There is also a water fountain in the front yard and an outdoor bar.
