Austrian giants Red Bulls Salzburg will need top-drawer performance from Ugandan captain Ibrahim Sekagya and a repeat of the fantastic support that they have enjoyed on European nights previously as they seek to pull off a UEFA miracle against Sevilla tonight.

The cliche of ‘having nothing to lose’ is most appropriate for Salzburg, who will make the potential fixture with a 2-0 deficit amassed from the first leg in Spain a week ago.

That win in Spain and last weekend’s 1-0 run of success over in-form Spanish side Atletico Madrid, combined with Salzburg’s inconsistent domestic performances, stacks the odds heavily in the Spanish club’s favour.

Salzburg will need to improve markedly from their pitiful showing in the first leg. Sekagya will be expected to shackle African footballer of the year Freddie Kanoute, if Salzburg are to progress.
