Telepathy tells me Zimbabwe’s Munya is going to be booted from the Big Brother house. Please join me in ushering out the short love-sick puppy – I’ll buy the first round.

Munya has been a favourite to many, myself included. Articulate and good-looking, he showed up on the M-Net reality show and carved himself out as a concrete personality. Lo and behold, he lost it at the hands of a woman. And he lost it all in a day’s worth of whining.
Upon Lucille’s exit back to Namibia last weekend, Munya showed every cause to get evicted as he whined and moaned over his love interest’s eviction. Can you imagine he has since subjected us to hours of seeing him lie there in thought?
On Wednesday he spent the whole day in bed, thinking about Lucille. He has entirely lost the plot, yawns all the time and the despair of not having succeeded in finding love with the Namibian evictee is written all over his face. The other day a buddy sent me a message that went, “Man, what’s up with Munya? He hugs himself and yawns all the time. The dude has suffered locally; we should evict him so he can join Lucille.â€
In fact, Munya told Biggie in the diary room on Monday that there was no reason for him to stay in the house without Lucille.
And true to him, voters want to save the love sick one of the suffering. Postings in the forum on www.mnetafrica.com/bigbrother are demonstrating a desire to grant Munya his wish by showing him the exit. Ask and you shall be given, huh? In fact, let us give it to him some more. Just type Vote Munya and send the message to 6626 across all networks. We surely can’t be seen to make the young man suffer ‘locally’ by keeping him in there, can we? Even then, the sh170m jackpot wouldn’t do him much good if he won it — not with the level of inflation in Uncle Bob’s country. And whoever put him on that list, up against Uti and Ricco did him a great disservice because sincerely, we update our monthly DStv subscription for entertainment. And unfortunately, Munya doesn’t beat Uti and Ricco at offering it. If evicted, he will be the first male housemate out after Tanzania’s Latoya and Lucille. But just in case he stays, Uti will be the victim, but not Ricco.
Meanwhile, look out for a housemates’ treat tonight, usually a dance party with music mixing by Channel O’s DJ Waxxy. But that will be if Biggie is not sulking because last Saturday, the housemates nearly boycotted his party because he had not given them enough alcohol.
