Uganda v Kenya (3pm)
Uganda takes on Kenya in one of the opening games of the inaugural Africa Zone Five U-21 youth netball championships in Nairobi at 3pm today. The event at Nyayo Stadium has attracted only three countries - Uganda, Tanzania and hosts Kenya. Uganda is being represented by two teams for boys and girls. Tanzania has a girls team and Kenya two girls' teams and one for boys.

UPDF eyes regional title
- League champions UPDF are confident they will excel at the East Africa handball club championships that start in Tanga,Tanzania today.
The army team that comprises 14 players under coach George Isabirye, arrived in Tanga yesterday for the six-day event.
"I know we are going for a stiff contest. But good enough, the boys are prepared to handle any team," vowed Isabirye.

Nkumba, ndejje win

Nkumba on Sunday won their second straight National University Sports Federation volleyball title at Kyambogo. Spurred by Isaac Omedo they prevailed 3-0 over KIU in the men's final.
Ndejje lifted the women's crown.
