A few months ago, we told you the former New Vision MD William Pike’s ambitious plan to form a media empire. The latest we hear is that the British journalist, who already owns Capital and Beat FM with partner Patrick Quarcoo, has reportedly bought Metro FM.

A few months ago, we told you the former New Vision MD William Pike’s ambitious plan to form a media empire. The latest we hear is that the British journalist, who already owns Capital and Beat FM with partner Patrick Quarcoo, has reportedly bought Metro FM.

The Old Kampala-based radio is owned by former housing minister, Francis Babu. Details of the deal are still elusive however. Pike and partner already own Kiss FM in Nairobi, beside The Nairobi Star newspaper.
