The source of River Nile is on the shores of Lake Edward

EDITOR—A lot has been said in the press about the source of the river Nile. According to my own research, the source of the Nile is on the shores of lake Edward at Ishango in the Democratic republic of congo approximately 20km from the Uganda border at Mpondwe.
I have the following grounds to support my logic: Some small rivers from the Rwenzori Mountain ranges like Mpanga, Mubuku, Sebwe, Nyamwamba and Dura pour their waters into Lake George.
Meanwhile rivers Kiizi, ishasha, Kyambura, nyamughasani, Cwera, nyamwiru and Lhubiriha pour their waters into lake Edward.
These two lakes, george and Edward are joined by Kazinga channel at Katunguru.
All those small rivers, some from the highlands in the DRC in Lutsuru merge in lake Edward to form a very big river called Semliki. Semliki emerges out at Ishango on the shores of lake Edward.
Semliki meanders through the thick forests and plains of the DRC before it enters Uganda at sempaya in bundibugyo district.
Many rivers in bundibugyo —Lamia, Rotobo, Nduguto, Humia, nyalulu, nkusi, muzizi, Wassa and others join Semliki in lake albert at ntoroko.
In lake Albert, Semliki is joined by a tributary called Victoria Nile as Blue Nile joins River Nile, to form the mighty River nile. I urge the Geographical society in Uganda and the Nile basin initiative Library to respond to my research findings so that we can get the truth about the source of the Nile which has for long been a subject of speculation.
