Enter popular businessman Juma Seiko, dressed like he was going to play golf. To his annoyance, ushers directed him far away from his friend Capt Mike Mukula. In anger, he stormed out and drove off in protest.
The speech of the chairman of PAM Awards was pre-recorded and, naturally, edited first. But, guess what, glitches and broken English still remained.
When Dogman stepped up to thank his fans for the West Nile artiste of the year award, he said he had bee suffering for six years! So, not winning is suffering?
Gospel crooner, Wilson Bugembe, who recently said he did not know the deputy Inspector General of Police, Edward Ochom, confessed that he saw the Nabagereka, Sylvia Nagginda for the first time.

Bebe Cool and Good Lyfe Crew’s Mowzey Radio and Weasal of the Zuena fame had an expected exchange over who was better. When Good Lyfe crew dedicated one of their awards to Bebe Cool saying he often despises their music, Cool told them they still had years to achieve his status and referred to his MTV Africa and Kora Awards.
Fashion was overdone detail, skimpy and fine pieces galore. Bebe Cool’s wife Zuena turned up almost naked and Grace Nakimera had a glittering outfit with a killer front slit. Kazoora attributed the dresses to an improvement in the awards.
The catering was this time not done by Kampala Sheraton Hotel. The new guys, Spectrum Restaurant of La Bonita Theatre had good food. But their staff were a pain.
Orders would take ages to be delivered and in some cases, staff disappeared with order coupons and never returned. Others had problems communicating in English.
