Crane Bank is 2008’s best bank
CRANE Bank has been declared Bank of the Year, beating 20 other African banks.

CRANE Bank has been declared Bank of the Year, beating 20 other African banks.
The bank won the same award in 2003, 2005 and 2007.
A premier global banking and financial magazine and also a subsidiary of Financial Trust (F.T) London awarded Crane the award.
The winners were announced in London on November 26.
The bank’s managing director, A R Kalan, said this year, the bank had also been awarded the ‘Euro money’ award for excellence and also recognised by “mea finance†as the best bank in Uganda.
In a statement read by the head of sales and marketing, Puneet Searnakar, Kalan said: “The annual awards recognise international standards and professionalism, which enabled us to attain the highest evaluations and ranking from international judging committees.†He said the award refects the bank’s determination to maintain high levels of professionalism.
