URA, who made a winning start in the Tusker Challenge Cup, will be watching today’s game between Tanzanian sides Yanga and Mtibwa with keen interest.
A win or draw for Yanga in the game, due at the National stadium in Dar-es-Salaam, will strengthen URA’s chances of advancing to the semi-finals of the annual competition.
URA beat Mtibwa 1-0 in their opening game but lost to Yanga 2-0.
But if Mtibwa win, the race for a place in the last four will be wide open.
At the same time, if Mtibwa draw, they will be out of the lucrative competition.
The semi-final matches are scheduled to start on Tuesday.
Yanga are the Cup holder. The winner will earn sh40m while second and third placed teams will get sh20m and sh10m respectively.
