THE first baby teeth to grow are the two bottom front teeth; they begin to appear when your child is six to eight months old. They are followed by the four upper front teeth.

The remainder of your baby’s teeth will appear, usually in pairs, one on each side of the jaw, until the child is about two-and-a half years.

By the time your child is three, all 20 baby teeth will probably be in the mouth.
However, all children are different and develop at different rates, so do not worry if teeth are slower at appearing than expected.
