GLOBAL Trust Bank is to open more branches soon and integrate Commercial Microfinance’s (CMF) 14 outlets, writes Nicholas Kajoba.
The managing director, Richard Byarugaba, said the bank would ensure clients access all the products.
In July, Global Trust Bank acquired CMF and began operations last month. The bank is owned by Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) company of Nigeria and National Insurance Corporation of Uganda.
“We started operating last month. The bank is established on the principles of quality and professionalism,†Byarugaba told the media during a breakfast at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
