ENTEBBE - The Archdeacon, Rev. Canon Jonathan Kisawuzi, has threatened to demonstrate over the mistreatment of children in the country. “If Lukyamuzi has been demonstrating over bad roads in his area, I too can over child sacrifice and mistreatment,” he said. He lashed out at people for discouraging their guests from coming for their weddings with children. “I no longer attend weddings of this nature because such people are so mean! How much food do these children consume?” he asked.

KAMPALA - The misunderstanding of women emancipation has greatly contributed to the disintegration of the family unit. The family has also been challenged by homosexuality and lesbianism, legalisation of abortion and contraceptive use, child sacrifice and witchcraft. These were the remarks by Rev. Fr. Simon Peter Mbeera of Our lady of Good Counsel, Gayaza Catholic parish on Sunday when Catholics marked the day of the family. He was unhappy with people who advocate for test tube births and homosexuality. “God created man and woman to bear children. How can you resort to test tube babies? How can same sex-relationship bear children? he asked.
