THE hearing of a case of manslaughter against the proprietor of Horizon Buses, Charles Muhangi, at Mbarara Chief Magistrate’s Court flopped on Friday.

Court heard that the witnesses, who are policemen, were transferred from Mbarara to Arua and Nakasongola district and had not been issued with the court summons.

Rally driver Muhangi, Geoffrey Nangumya and David Ochaya are accused of the death of Resty Mugabirwe and George Twakira.

The two died during a scuffle that involved Muhangi over a plot in Mbarara town.

The Chief Magistrate, Muwata, adjourned the case to February 26 and said it was last time for him to do so.
