NATIONAL champion Ronald Ssebuguzi has challenged elusive top guns Emma Katto and Riyaz Kurji to dare him this season.

“I would enjoy defending my title against a strong opposition. Katto and Riyaz should come out and challenge me for the title. I am a true champion, I want stiff competition,” Ssebuguzi stated.

Kurji and Katto, who drive power Subaru N10 cars, are highly rated in Ugandan rallying.

Kurji opted to compete in the Kenya championship last season while Katto occasionally participates in home events.

“It would be a wonderful season if all the top drivers came out strongly this year,” Ssebuguzi remarked.

Meanwhile, Ssebuguzi will unleash his recently rebuilt Mitsubishi Evo4 in the CBS Premier sprint at Lubiri circuit on Sunday.

The event has attracted 22 competitors and six guest drivers.
