LOCAL music star, Jose Chameleone’s ex-woman, ‘Dorotia’ and an American friend have been sentenced to 14 and 11 years in prison respectively. Griet Onsea (left), a 34-year-old Belgian and Harry Lum, 63, appeared in a US court in July 2006. They were charged with importing controlled drugs and were remanded for 28 days by Norwich magistrates. The couple attempted to bring more than £1m worth of cocaine into East Anglia through Norwich Airport. Lum and Onsea were arrested after eight customs officers, acting on intelligence, searched their luggage on arrival at Norwich. They found 12kg of the class A drug with an estimated street value of up to £2m. Lum pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 11 years. Onsea, a former UN employee, denied the charges and was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
