AN American coffee roaster, Adam Laird Lansford, 28, died in an accident in Kapchorwa on Tuesday.
AN American coffee roaster, Adam Laird Lansford, 28, died in an accident in Kapchorwa on Tuesday.
Nathan Etengu reports that the accident occurred at Towei cliff on the Mbale-Kapchorwa road, when his Isuzu truck transporting coffee overturned.
Kapchorwa district Police commander Nicholas Ngonzi said the accident occurred at 6:00pm.
He attributed the accident to speeding.
Laird was working with The Source Café in Jinja.
The scene at which the accident occured is a trouble spot where many people have lost their lives.
Recently, a group of ‘born-again’ christians perished in the same place when their vehicle overturned.
