Amon shoots back at Ouma

Amon Lukwago, songstress Juliana Kanyomozi’s ex-boyfriend, has shot back at what he calls US-based Ugandan boxer Kasim Ouma’s lame efforts to scare him, using the media to damage his image.

We reported recently that Lukwago felt sorry for Juliana, the mother of his five-year-old son, Keron, for getting married to a boxer, whose success may be short-lived. Ouma called a local tabloid and referred to Amon, who owns a dance club in Masindi as a “village DJ”.

Lukwago, who is currently in London shopping for materials for his radio in Masindi, told our scouts that Ouma had told friends in London that he will crash Amon like a sugarcane if they meet.

But Amon retorted that Ouma would instead have to fight his lawyers. “I am tired of Ouma’s verbal nonsense,” he said. He called Ouma “a failure who could not settle in the Ugandan army and took an easy way out by joining boxing.”

He added that even then, things were not going as well as expected for the boxer. Lukwago advised the pugilist to stop attacking him and concentrate on babysitting his son “because to me, that is what he is good for.”
However, he wished the couple success in everything.
