SC Villa coach Asuman Lubowa is confident he will soon get a worthy replacement for runaway striker Oscar Kadenge.

Lubowa insists that Villa are not playing any less better without him. Villa face Police on Monday.

“Villa plays as a team. If you look at the statistics, Kadenge had scored only two goals yet he is a striker. He is fast and creative but we also have other stars that can play his role,” was Lubowa’s verdict.

Kadenge fled Villa Park and has reportedly had trials with Rayon Sport in Rwanda.

Lubowa was reacting to allegations that the absence of Kadenge had affected the club’s form, which has seen them lose top position after draws with the embattled Express and Maji.

Jeremiah Ssebuyira and Joram Katende have been tried in the play-maker’s role. The club has also signed Jimmy Jalendo, who Lubowa is confident about.
