Did God accept Kampala?

SIR — Sometime back, a group of believers organised a prayer meeting after which they declared Kampala “the city of Godâ€.<br>

According to me, this was supposed to mean that since God was in charge, the city was going to be free of the chaos, wrangles and all manner of misunderstandings that it had become synonymous with. What is actually happening is far from that.
There are still so many arguments over markets, leisure parks and garbage collection tenders. The city is still chaotic.
Teargas is used to solve misunderstandings. These are the few cases that I can point out. I believe there is much more. This gets one to think that God, to whom we dedicated our capital, is taking his time to accept it.
