KOBS started their campaign to the rugby season by lifting the Kampala Club Chairman’s Cup on Saturday.

The champions made light work of Rhinos and Sailors, thumping them 29-0 and 14-0 respectively to win the round robin tournament.

Despite the victory, Kobs’ pathetic forwards were exposed and turned out a big worry for the side ahead of the Bell lager league that starts on Saturday.

“Much as we are the team to beat, I think we have much to do with our forwards, that was not the best show,” senior player Allan Musoke revealed.

The Bell league will kick off with Heathens taking on Rhinos while uganda telecom Kobs meet Hima Impis.
