UGANDA Safari Company has launched Wildplaces Africa, which represents the accommodation segments of their tourism and hospitality business in the country. “Wildplaces Africa is the umbrella name for the three properties owned and managed by the group. The places are Emin Pasha in Kampala, Semliki Lodge in Semliki Valley and Apoka Lodge in Kidepo Valley National Park.

“The tag line for Wildplaces, the finest accommodation in Uganda’s wildest places encompasses the philosophy of what we do,” said the managing director, Jonathan Wright.

“We have won awards, featured in television shows, magazines and have been invited to join an exclusive group of other similar properties around Africa. But, in Uganda, we are hardly known,” he asserted.

Wright said UK Tatler magazine voted Semliki Lodge as one of the 101 best hotels in the world and was also voted best safari camp in Uganda by the Travel News and Leisure Magazine.
