Balunywa must apologise publicly

SIR — Prof. Apolo Nsibambi must be commended for the directive to have the MUBS students graduate on the 55th graduation at Makerere University. It was a relief to the over 200 affected students and parents because the wrangle had degenerated into a national shame.
SIR — Prof. Apolo Nsibambi must be commended for the directive to have the MUBS students graduate on the 55th graduation at Makerere University. It was a relief to the over 200 affected students and parents because the wrangle had degenerated into a national shame.
It was interesting to hear the ululation when the MUBS students were having degrees conferred upon them.
I think it was professional indiscipline and lack of respect for authority for the principal of mubs, Wasswa balunywa, not to attend the graduation ceremony, at which the conflict would have been solved. Balunywa, you owe the students, parents and the public an apology.
