FORMER top seed Harriet Ssali emerged from a two year break to win the first leg of the Club Pilsner national beach volleyball circuit at Lido Beach, Entebbe on Sunday.

FORMER top seed Harriet Ssali emerged from a two year break to win the first leg of the Club Pilsner national beach volleyball circuit at Lido Beach, Entebbe on Sunday.
Paired with new partner and seed one Shilla Omuriwe, Ssali who was top star of the beach before taking a break in 2004, fought stiff opposition from Andrina Namata and Mercy Tabitha in a spirited final which ended 19-21 21-11 15-11.
The winners were called to the national team for an event in Mombasa in April.
