Katto, who recently got an international award, ACCA Member Achievement last year for contribution to the growth of Uganda’s capital markets sector, said: “Organisations need to put in place reward systems. It plays a key role in motivating people and transforming society.â€
Katto said this during a dinner organised by the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) to honour him for receiving the award.
Lucile Isingoma, the Uganda manager of ACCA, said Katto is an ambassador for the body in East Africa and a delegate to Accra’s International Assembly.
The CMA chief is also a member of the Compliance Advisory Panel of the International Federation of Accountants.
