EARLIER this month, we reported that Keicy Mbazira, the guy who sings with R&B singer Dorothy Bukirwa on the hit Stranger was complaining that he sings 75% of the song, Bukirwa claimed the song was hers and Mbazira was a featured artiste.

The two artistes have since reached a co-ownership agreement, which gives Bukirwa 55% ownership of the song.

Bukirwa further reveals that she owns Nkwagala, also a point of contention, after buying the lyrics from Keicy at sh200,000.

Bukirwa explains that the wrangle stemmed from the fact that she had trusted Keicy as a friend. “We had not put anything on paper and he (Keicy) wanted more money.

He took advantage of this to blackmail me claiming that I had stolen the song,” she says. Although Dorothy says she has no ill-feelings towards Keicy, she swears never to work with him again.
