EARWIGS(Forticula auricularia) hide during the day, resting in dark crevices in moist places under flower boxes, stones and boards in gardens.
They emerge at night and feed on fruit, flowers and vegetables. Sometimes, they enter houses in large numbers. Slight damage is caused as a result of their feeding habits. They contaminate food with their excreta and fragments and will mess up the kitchen or store.
Cracks, crevices, joints and other hiding places should be sprayed with Baygon EC or Solfac (WP, EC,EW).
Use of residual insecticides can be complemented most effectively by also applying fogs like (Mafu KN, Baygon HN).
