OLD Kampala SS proved giants of central region after edging Kibuli SS in the Kampala Secondary Schools Football League final Friday. Both teams qualify for the Coke Cup.

Busienei off for track start
WILSON Busienei has arrived in Italy as focus shifted from the world cross country to the track season. The track season will climax with the World Athletics Championships in Osaka, Japan, in August. Boniface Kiprop and Dorcus Inzikuru leave for Europe at the end of the month.

Makerere to build stadium
Makerere University plans to set up a multi-million indoor stadium ahead of the 5th All Africa University games they host next year.
University senior sports tutor Penninah Kabenge disclosed that the sports department earlier embarked on a long-term sh2bn general sports facility development programme for the university. Kabenge said that Makerere has already promised sh600m this year.
