VIEWERS of the television quiz sponsored by mobile company Celtel have received their prizes, writes Mark Owor.
The Celtel Africa Challenge Home Viewer Quiz is a special version of the university quiz called the Celtel Africa Challenge.
The public relations manager, Justina Ntabgoba, said at the hand-over that the university quiz was broadcast on UBC TV on March 11, where viewers were asked questions and answered them by sending an answer to 197.
Ntabgoba said: “Celtel Challenge is the first ever televised academic competition for East African universities. Participating Ugandan universities include Makerere, Ndejje, Nkumba, Islamic University and Mbarara.â€
Ntabgoba said that everyone is eligible to participate.
