DO you know what the word ‘confirmation’ means in the Catholic Church? Confirmation happens after getting lessons on Catholic beliefs. You must be baptised first before confirmation.
Well, 400 children followed the necessary steps and were confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Naggalama in Mukono District recently.
Kampala Archdiocese Bishop Cyprian Lwanga confirmed them into the Catholic faith. In the Catholic Church, a priest is the one who baptises and gives you Holy Communion. A Bishop confirms you.
Archbishop Lwanga advised the children to be well-behaved and grow up to become responsible citizens.
The Archbishop also asked the children to pray and ask God to guide them. He said that God loves children because He made them in His image. He told them to follow the teachings of the church.
