IT was a breathtaking performance when reggae greats featured at Ange Noir's Tuff Gong night first anniversary concert in February.
The footage of that concert right from when the stars jetted in at Entebbe is what a cross section of reggae fans watched on Wednesday and some lucky ones took home DVD copies.
The Natural Mystic-The Legend Lives On show featured Aswad’s lead singer Brinsley Forde, Dennis Bovell, the creator of Lovers Rock reggae and a legend in dub music, brothers Patrick and Henry Tenyue who work with UB40.
Others were Paul Blake, Henry Holder, and John Kpiaye. Our own Tshaka Mayanja, Matthew Nabwiso, Deborah and Edward Kisakye joined the stars curtain raised by Peter Miles and Menshan, Bebe Cool, Kid Fox, Jecacki, Apollo, Benon and Vamposs.
Some of these artists watched themselves for the first time at the Ange Mystique do over a snack.
The two hours long DVD manufactured in the UK courtesy of Dave Summers was filmed and put together by 2 Eyes Films Production who have a longer footage that could be availed on request.
Mayanja thanked the fans for making the show a success.
The show's sound equipment was provided by Ange Noir and the lights by Silk Events.
