THE Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president, Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye, has urged politicians to resurrect with Jesus Christ and unite people who were separated because of politics.

“Being an FDC does not mean that you do not eat or work with one who voted for NRM. It’s only about direction and we do not have to take one direction.”

This was at an Easter service at Kajwamushana Church of Uganda in Ruhinda sub-county, Rukungiri district.

Besigye noted that the resurrection of Jesus should encourage people with different political ideologies to work together to develop their areas.

“You may be on the road you think is best but find the bridge broken, then you have to use another route. If you wronged people on that route, you may find it rough.”

He said most NRM supporters had realised that they were on the wrong route and were joining FDC.

Besigye warned his supporters against segregating the NRM people.

“Co-operate with them during times of happiness and comfort them in trouble.”

The Rev. Eldard Kashanje urged politicians to receive Jesus if they are to succeed in restoring peace throughout the country.
