DEAR children, did you know there is a day when you can celebrate the special things your mummy has done for you? That day is May 13, and it is called Mother’s Day.
What special thing have you planned to do for your mummy on this day? Are you going to prepare her breakfast, clean her bedroom, send her a beautiful card or give her the biggest hug in the whole wide world?
Well, we at Children’s Vision know how much you love your mummy and want to show this love to her. This is what you can do. Write to your mummy a lovely poem and send it to Children’s Vision.
You can do this by posting the poem to Children’s Vision, Mother’s Day poem, P.O Box 9815, Kampala Uganda
You can also bring your poem to the New Vision head office on Plot 19/21 First Street, Industrial Area in Kampala.
If you have a computer, you can e-mail your poem to children@newvision .co.ug
The deadline for receiving your wonderful poems is April 24, 2007.
The best poems will be published in Children’s Vision and the winner will be picked using a raffle draw. The winner will get a big prize.
