Registration ends April 30

KAMPALA<br>Normal registration for Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), UJTC, Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) ends on April 30, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has said.

Normal registration for Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), UJTC, Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) ends on April 30, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has said.

In a statement signed by UNEB secretary Matthew Bukenya, the board said late registration, which would attract a surcharge, ends on May 31.

Primary Seven candidates are required to pay sh10,000, UCE candidates with a minimum of eight subjects pay sh46,300, and and those with a maximum of eight subjects pay sh56,000. UACE has a minimum fee of sh41,900 and a maximum of sh50, 900, the statement said.

“The Uganda National Examinations Board informs all candidates, head teachers and parents that registration for examinations is in progress. Extra school charges are not UNEB fees,” said the statement.
