THE Uganda Revenue Authority goal machine is on a roll. Eleven goals in three games have pushed the champions 12 points clear of their nearest rivals SC Villa and closer to a second Super League soccer title.

Veteran Philip Obwiny scored from the penalty and mid season signing Jackson Baluku added a second before half-time yesterday. Midfield ace Manko Kaweesa’s third saw URA brush aside Iganga and continue their strong showing in the league at Mandela Stadium, Namboole.

URA hammered Mukono 5-0 last week, beat Victors 3-1 on Monday before yesterday’s 3-0 victory.

At Nakivubo, Victors’ Philip Ssozi and Paul Mukatabala missed a host of chances as they shared the spoils with Bunamwaya.

After their surprise 1-0 win over visiting Mukono, Express return to action today in their fight to move further from the relegation zone. Four teams will be dropped at the end of the season.

Jackson Mayanja’s KCC will also be hosting third-from-bottom Mukono in the other match at Nakivubo today.

Mukono, coming off a surprise 2-0 away win at Masaka, get a chance to avenge a first round 0-3 loss. A victory will get the Mukono side closer to sneaking out of the relegation zone.
