LAST Sunday at Lido Beach, two of East Africa’s most popular artistes; Jose Chameleone and Mr. Nice from Tanzania staged an electrifying show that left fans yearning for more.

The show will go down in the annals of Lido Beach history as the most engaging gig, reports Pidson Kareire.

The excitement became too much that, Mr. Nice, in the heat of the moment, gave out his designer T-shirt, classy ‘bling bling’ and jacket to star-struck fans.

The two artistes, who completed their upcountry music tour last week, put up energetic live performances that swept fans off their feet.

From children to adults, no one remained seated when the artistes took centre stage. There was also a scuffle as fans tried to catch the best view of the singers.

Mr. Nice’s style of singing was as captivating as his dance strokes. He dances a modified version of a Lingala.

He sang all his favourites songs including Fagilia. Chameleone sang all his songs including the crowds’ favourite, Mama Mia and Atasiga Ensingo, his latest sons.

Other artistes who performed were Ngoni, General Mega Dee, Qute Kaye, Rocky Giant, Weasle Mayanja, Tikita and Moze Radio.
