I was riding my bike outside the gate in the afternoon and two people in a green car drove past and then stopped. One of the men jumped out of the car, lifted me and threw me into the car and they drove off.

My legs, hands and mouth were tied with cellotape. I could not shout for help as they drove off to an unknown place. I was kept in the dark house and fed on rice and chicken everyday.

Whenever I would cry, the men would slap me and tell me to keep quiet. The house was big, but I did not see anybody else. I was kept in the house alone. The men returned me to my home on April 26 and dropped me off near our gate at 1:30am. I knocked on the gate but no one opened. I run to the main road and a boy who knew my daddy picked me and brought me back home.

I am happy I am back home with my family and friends. Imran’s hobbies are, playing football, riding bikes and watching cartoons, especially Scooby Do, Tom and Jerry and The Little Mermaid. He wants to be a pilot.

Imran Ahmed Junior advised kidnappers to leave children alone because they are innocent. He advised children to avoid places that could be targets for people who want to kidnap them.

Imran’s sister Nisha Tanmee, also a pupil of Waterford Nursery school, said she is happy that her brother has returned home. “I felt bad. I kept his doll and bike for him until he came back. We missed him as a family,” she said.

His daddy, Mr. Imran Ahmed, of Capital Telecoms, thanked everyone, especially The New Vision for drawing attention to the disappearance of his son.
