SIR — Near my residence in Luzira, there is a bar called Big Nite whose management does not respect residents in the area. They play very loud music until the wee hours of the morning, irrespective of the day of the week.

What happened to the exercise to stop bars and discos from having noise levels above 40 decibals? We appeal to the relevant authorities to put an end to this menace.
Places like that should be made sound-proof.
