COCA-COLA has thrilled its customers in Mbarara town by giving them Nokia mobile phones, T-shirts, squeeze-bottles, bandanas, caps, meal and internet-surfing coupons worth millions of shillings. Rita Tsehai, the senior Coca-cola brand manager for Uganda and Ethiopia, said they have already given out 10 fully-connected Nokia mobile phones since the two-month promotion began.

During a promotion at Mbarara Taxi Park on Saturday, Tsehai told The New Vision that six more Nokia mobile phones were yet to be given out before the end of this month. She said the criteria of winning a phone is to buy a bottle of Coca-cola and get a raffle-ticket, with which a lucky customer wins from a raffle. It is a countrywide promotion called, 'Coke side of life carnival!' It is a weekly event.
