A beautiful necklace can enhance your look and make you stand out of the crowd. But how does one get to know which necklace suits them best?

Necklaces come in a variety. Some are silver, golden, bronze, beads, banana fibre and ivory among others.

To make them match with the earrings, one needs to buy the two in the same place.

This is because necklaces are sold with matching earrings. For golden and silver necklaces, one may need a pendant, which may be in form of a cross, star or any other shape.

A necklace should match with your dress or busuuti. Jewellry shops can provide you with matching necklaces so to get a better choice, you need to visit these shops.

For an average person, go to pocket-friendly shops where prices range between sh5,000 to sh25,000. Some of these shops are found in most arcades in town.

Jewellry shops like JIT at Grand Imperial and others at Charm Towers have expensive, but genuine Jewellry. Their prices depend on the type of necklace one wants.

For golden necklaces with pendants, prices range from sh15,000 to sh50,000 depending on the carats.
If one wants the earrings as well, the prices are higher.

Alternatively, if one chooses African design necklaces, prices range from sh2,000 to sh20,000.

These are available at African Village, the National Theatre Craft shop and many other craft shops in town.
