IT could take you a lifetime to see the Obsessions’ Jacki Tusiime slip up while on the dance floor. That is because she is an experienced perfectionist. But when the group’s fans who won the City Beat draw turned up at The Basement night club last Thursday, she nearly danced herself lame. And it was the case with the other three girls; Hellen Lukome, Sharon Salmon and Brenda Nambi — all dancing and singing their lungs out for the winners.

The group mainly performed songs from their upcoming album, which exhibited maturity. But the party moment came with Jangu Jangu.

That was after Edward Kimera, a marketing assistant at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation in Entebbe, confessed that his boss always hums the song in the office.

But the ladies, especially Jessica Namakula, made the most of it when the winners joined Obsessions on the dance floor.

There were also moments of transformation. Aisha Kwesigye, who recently won sh100, 000 worth of airtime from MTN for writing the best letter in City Beat, moved from shyness to boldness.

And this girl who recently recovered from a broken-heart following Dr. Beat’s advice partied on after the Obsessions had left.

So did Club beer’s Shem Semambo who was “twisted” by Helen Lukome. Dr. Aloysius Kintu must now be healthier if it is to be believed that dancing is healthy.

Tusiime, with confidence, answered most of the queries. So, the fans got to know how the girls keep in shape, how they squeeze such energy out of their small bodies when performing and what happened to the boys and Cleopatra Koheirwe, the latest member to leave the group.

The winners and other fans stand a chance of replacing Cleo. All it will take is competing in a reality TV show that the group is coming up with. The winners also received T-shirts and caps courtesy of Club beer.
