Gombe SS regained their winning form overcoming Kakungulu Memorial School 13-6 in the national post primary schools netball championship in Iganga Saturday. Defending champions St. Mary’s Kitende were shown the exit in the group stage of the annual meet that drew over 30 teams.

Police nearly erased Mulago’s unbeaten run but the giants escaped after pulling off a draw in the Kampala zone national darts league over the weekend.

Uganda walloped Kenya by 37-0 runs in the East African Baseball championship at Kyambogo on Saturday. The win enables Uganda to contest for the African crown after qualifiers in September.
