SAMUEL Erioru, a four-and-half-year-old boy, is seeking $13,700 (sh21.9m) to undergo open heart surgery in India. According to Dr. Peter Lwabi, a consultant at Mulago Hospital, Erioru is suffering from tetralogy, a congenital heart disease.

He explained that the boy could be operated on at Madras Medical Mission in India. Lwabi added that the money would be spent on treatment, accommodation and air tickets for the patient and a caretaker.

Erioru’s father, Whycliff Ejoku, said he could not raise the funds. He appealed to good Samaritans to help his son. Any financial assistance can be deposited on account number 1775930 in Barclays Bank, main branch on Kampala Road.
