SOCCER enthusiasts ought to brace themselves for what should be a mouth-watering menu of top-notch football on SuperSport this season.
MultiChoice public relations officer Helena Mayanja yesterday stressed that Supersport was determined to satisfy their clientele in terms of quality and quantity by providing arguably all competitive leagues and tournaments the coming season.
Mayanja also allayed fears that Supersport would not be in position to televise a host of matches involving the top ten sides in the Premiership.
“The fact that SuperSport will show the FA Charity Shield (Chelsea and Manchester United) should put your ‘fears’ to rest,†she said.
“We will be able to clarify what English Premier League games will be on stage after the league schedule has been released,†she added.
Multichoice has also introduced “Premier League World†programme, which according to Mayanja, will keep their ever-increasing Supersport viewership in the privileged position of being spoilt for choice.
The feature-based programme, that isn’t limited by the soccer calendar, started on July 5 and premiers at 19.30pm on SS3.
Supersport’s success in securing rights for Club Channels of Barcelona TV, Chelsea TV, Liverpool TV, Manchester United TV, AC Milan and Real Madrid TV, means ardent club followers will be in position to access their favourite clubs’ behind the scenes action and interviews.
