Kyagulanyi gets ‘Kwanjulad’ today

TODAY, singer and award-winning song writer, Silver Kyagulanyi, will get kwanjulad to the parents of his girlfriend and mother of his son, Jalia Namazzi.
TODAY, singer and award-winning song writer, Silver Kyagulanyi, will get kwanjulad to the parents of his girlfriend and mother of his son, Jalia Namazzi.
The ceremony will take place at the home of Jalia’s father, Hajji Manisur Mubiru, in Zana on Entebbe Road. Needless to say, like at the recent okuhingira of Barbie Itungo, Bobi Wine’s fiancée, the groom-to-be’s entourage will consist mainly of artistes.
The couple will wed on Wednesday next week. However, they will not walk down the aisle in the traditional sense of the word.
They will exchange their vows on a jetty at Teniel Beach near Lido Beach on Lake Victoria in Entebbe. Pastor Dr. Simeon Kayiwa of Namirembe Christian Fellowship (which Kyagulanyi attends), will wed the couple.
They will later host their guests to a reception on the green at the same beach. Silver met Jalia about four years ago in the United Kingdom, where she has lived for the past 10 years.
